Children's Church
Children's Church is a weekly ministry that takes place during the latter portion of the Sunday AM worship service. Children's church is a time geared for children K-5th Grade to worship in ways fitting for young minds such as biblical teaching, crafts, music, and games.
Women on Mission
Women on Mission is a missions organization for adult women seeking to live a missions lifestyle. Women on Mission offers a group setting that equips women to learn about missions, pray for missions, give to missions, go on mission, and incorporate missions into every aspect of life. Women seeking encouragement in their journey toward missions or desiring to make missions a priority will find all of that and more in Women on Mission. The Black Springs Women on Mission are a group of ladies that meet to plan, organize, pray, study, and provide for missions in our community and around the world. They meet every first Monday of the month at 2pm.
Brotherhood
Brotherhood ministry at Black Springs is a monthly gathering of men who desire the community and fellowship of other Christian men who are seeking to learn more about Christ and serve the church in ways unique to men's abilities and interests. At each monthly meeting we enjoy a home cooked meal, discuss local missions opportunities, plan group events/activities, and also hear a devotion by a guest speaker.
Outreach
Our outreach ministry seeks to fulfill the last phrase of our mission statement, to "reach our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ in truth and love." We fulfill this mission through various events and activities such as GCSU & GMC campus outreach opportunities, Baptist Collegiate Ministry outreach opportunities, member & prospective-member visitation, Vacation Bible School, and others. Events are planned and announced throughout the year.
